Students entering grades 4 through 12 can earn up to 10,000 yen during the summer by memorizing Bible verses. The verses will be posted by the end of school. Hurrah!! The toughest 4 ounces (113 grams) of life is still alive! Twenty-year old Moonbird, a red knot, was sighted along the Delaware Bay in the eastern U.S. on Thursday, 16 May 2013. Read his story in the book Moonbird: a Year on the Wind with the Great Survivor B95M by Phillip Hoose.
