HS track and field competes at Yokota

The high school track team was also in action at Yokota on Saturday. This was the Knights' last meet as an entire team before Kanto Finals. They achieved 35 personal records and many Far East qualifying marks.
Below are the top-five individual and top-three relay performances from the day (Far East qualifying marks are denoted by an asterisk):
Kaito- 1st in 100 meters (11.01*), 1st in 200 meters (22.88*) Dominic- 5th in 400 meters (54.73) Tristin- 2nd in 800 meters (2:02.56*) Morgan- 5th in 800 meters (2:40.58) Jeremy- 1st in 1600 meters (4:39.43*), 2nd in 3200 meters (10:26.81*) Take- 3rd in 1600 meters (4:40.10*), 1st in 3200 meters (10:24.36*) Raven- 4th in 100 meter hurdles (19.18) Philip- 4th in discus (35.44 meters*), 4th in long jump (5.71 meters*) Annabelle- 2nd in high jump (1.40 meters*) Megumi- 5th in long jump (4.29 meters) Boys’ 4x100 meter relay team (Josiah, Wonjun, Leo, Kaito)- 1st (45.42*)  Boys’ 4x400 meter relay team (Dominic, Hikaru, Kaito, Tristin)- 2nd (3:40.73*) Girls’ 4x400 meter relay team (Krista, Morgan, Teruyo, Mariko)- 3rd (4:34.06*)

There is a Far East qualifying meet next Wednesday (5/2) at Yokota that some of the team will compete at. After that, the next meet for the Knights will be Kanto Finals at Yokota on Saturday, May 12.
