HS boys' tennis loses 4-0 against Edgren

The high school boys' tennis team played against Edgren on Saturday, losing 4-0. The Knights also had a friendly match against Yokota and lost 3-1.

"It was a very warm day for October, but we were blessed that it was still pretty nice weather," coach Koji Yamabe said. "One of the highlights was from Minoru, who played two very tough and close matches, winning the second one. In the first match against Edgren, he lost on a tiebreaker. Right after the first match, he seemed to be a bit frustrated. But he gathered himself quickly and won the second match 7-5. This must have given Minoru confidence and reminded him of the importance of not giving up until the very end.

Each one of the players learns something through their match experiences, and so far they are doing well."
