Varsity volleyball loses three games on Day 2 of YUJO Tournament

The varsity volleyball team lost three times on Friday at ASIJ in Day 2 of pool play for the YUJO Volleyball Tournament. The Knights lost 2-0 (15-25, 22-25) against Zama, 2-0 (16-25, 15-25) against Kubasaki and 2-1 (19-25, 25-22, 19-21) against Kadena.
"Against Zama was one of our better played games of the season," coach Steve Hall said of the first game. In the second match, Hall said "we started strong, but once Kubasaki got rolling they were tough to stop." Hall added regarding the final game that "we didn't play great, but we still had plenty of opportunities to win the match."

The Knights ended pool play with five losses, and their overall season record is now 5-11.

CAJ will start bracket play against Kinnick at 9 a.m. on Saturday.
