Corn Bread

Ingredients
1 cup cornmeal
1 cup flour
4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 Tbsp brown sugar
2 beaten eggs
1 cup milk
1/4 cup oil or melted shortening

Directions
Preheat oven to 400 ̊F (204 ̊C). Mix together cornmeal, flour, baking powder, salt, and brown sugar. Add eggs, milk, and oil. Stir just until smooth. Pour into a greased 9" (22.86 cm) square pan and bake 25 minutes.
