Drop Biscuits

Ingredients
2 cups flour
4 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cream of tartar
2 Tbsp sugar
3/4 cup milk
1/3 ~ 1/2 cup vegetable oil

Directions
Measure dry ingredients into bowl; stir together. Mix milk and oil. Add to dry ingredients. Mix no more than 12 stirs. Drop dough by spoonfuls onto baking sheet. Bake 12-15 minutes at 400 ̊F.

  • preparation time: 30 minutes
  • Quick biscuits: increase milk about 1/2 cup and cook in muffin tins.
