Mathematics Field Day results
Congratulations to our CAJ team on their participation in Mathematics Field Day on April 19. Elijah S. won 7th grade, Joshua S. was in the winning Tech Challenge team for Junior division, and Shun T. was in the winning Energiser Team for the Junior division.
MS band chaperones needed!
CAJ MS band needs 6 parent or teacher chaperones for two events coming in May: Two
for MS Select Band rehearsal at Yokota, Sat., May 13, departing CAJ at 7:00, returning at 4:30; Four
for MS Band Festival at Yokosuka, Thurs., May 18, departing CAJ at 6:00 and returning at 5:00. Please let me know ASAP if you can help/assist. (Mr. Wackerman)

High school students interested in being recognized for their work in the fine arts (music, drama-speech-debate, visual arts, Matsu
, Brain Bowl, Math Field Day, chapel band) can download the application
to print and fill in. Deadline for submission is May 1. More information is on the form.

Signup now for PTA Scripture Memory Program
Students entering grades 4 through 12 can earn up to 10,000 yen during the summer by memorizing Philippians Chapter 1 to 4. You can choose to do the whole section or only part of the section. You can signup now by e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org with "Scripture Memory" as the subject and your name and grade next year in the body.
